This is the space that I decided would be the best place to set up. It's rather dark and there are NO windows so I'm going to have to get creative with lighting.
Here is a better shot of the setting. I added in some little things to complete the "getting ready" image I had in my head. This is one of the many milk glass vases I've purchased. I didn't have any way to store my bracelets where I could see them all, so I thought this was the perfect solution!
I think you may have seen this little beauty on my Instagram. I just love this little dish. It sits on my nightstand and holds my rings.
I couldn't believe when I saw this mirror sitting on the shelf. I don't know how long it had been there (well it was less than two days since that was the last time I was there lol) and I know for a FACT if I wouldn't have bought it that day, it would have been gone. Isn't it just BEAUTIFUL?!
Until next time.
Much love,
Liz
Liz! That wood is to die for! I'm so jealous :). That's an awesome space and I think you'll be having lots of fun in your new space throughout the winter!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it amazing Vicky? It's been sitting in a barn at my grandfather's house for probably over a decade just waiting for someone to use it :) I can't wait to bring more of it home. If you were closer I'd share some with you!!! I really can't wait to play around with my set up more. I have so many things I want to photograph!!! This might end up being it's own separate series lol.
DeleteToo cute!!! When I move into my own place after the summer I say you fly to NJ, we go thrift shopping, & you assist me in decorating my place! lol such great finds and great use of space! xo
ReplyDeleteDEAL Brooke!!!! I'd love to come visit and I've never been to NJ so that would be the perfect excuse :) We'd have SOOOOO much fun! xo
DeleteTHE WOOD, ugh! so gorgeous. This set up is too adorable and sunflowers are my favorite flower. It looks great!

Thanks Arica! I'm trying to use for every possible project lol. My husband actually made a headboard for us out of it but that's in storage and will have to wait to be featured once we get our new house :) I'm loving sunflowers right now too especially with winter arriving so quickly....it's my only dose of sunshine down there!!!
DeleteWOW! It looks amazing! You might not want to go back to shooting outside after winter is over! The wood is gorgeous! It's all very rustic chic!! <3
ReplyDeleteAww thanks Sue Ann!!! I don't know about that lol. I CRAVE natural light but this has been an amazing opportunity to push myself out of my comfort zone. I'm excited to work on more backgrounds this weekend.
DeleteSuper fabulous idea with the vase! That is pretty-pretty-pretty! :) www.GlamKaren.com
ReplyDeleteThanks Karen! I need to learn some restraint when it comes to vases because I'm starting to get quite a few :)
